OUR PRODUCTION PROCESS

Shooting and Editing a film such as this takes years of practice and experience, K Miller Films has produced over 20 official short films, along with countless videos, and our team is more than equipped to make this film a reality. For Old Times’ Sake, not unlike our other low-budget shorts, is being shot in a truly minimalist form, maximizing our use of budget. Most shoots consist of only 3-8 crew members along with our main cast. We’ve been able to double the standard for shooting material using a method of “minimal coverage shooting.” This involves a more lengthy pre-production process, and a very small and precise shot list. This shooting style emphasizes composition and performance over montage and excess. It also creates a more collaborative and friendly atmosphere on set. These films are much richer stylistically than the current social media editing trends stifling new films, and a fresh alternative to the Hollywood mode of production.
